Dr. Daniel Holzhauer

I enjoy working with my hands and blending the art and science of orthodontics to improve a person’s quality of life. It is very rewarding to feel I might have played a small part helping younger patients develop into healthy, successful individuals. Continuing education and creativity has always been a passion that I can pursue even more now that my own children are grown and independent. Early intervention and newer treatment protocols with guided growth and development are improving systemic health and facial esthetics, most of the time without removing any permanent teeth, I am also treating many more adult patients and recognize their unique needs and desires, not to mention the technical challenges of working with a mature face and dentition. Oftentimes this includes working with a team of other professionals with our shared knowledge enhancing the outcome. I look forward to applying my many years of experience and passion to create your beautiful smile!

I attend the annual American Association of Orthodontists meeting and many of the state and local meetings as well as other more focused educational opportunities. It’s amazing how techniques improve over the years to make treatment more comprehensive, efficient, comfortable and cost effective

IN THE OFFICE

Since joining my father’s practice in 1985 I have had the pleasure of working with a fantastic team, including Dr. Hewett, Dr. Barta and Dr. Schneider. My father retired in 1992 and has since passed away but he instilled a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence and appreciation for the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. None of this would be possible without a team of dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for a long time and developed the skills needed to make each patient’s treatment smooth and comfortable. I appreciate their long hours and time away from family. From reception to chairside assistants to billing and lab, our entire staff works toward making a great patient experience.
